Over her 20-year career at the firm, she has worked within ECM for 15 years and most recently served as head of ECM for the Americas. Liz Myers succeeds Viswas Raghavan to become global head of equity capital markets, reporting to Urwin. Eric has been with the firm for more than 20 years, and most recently ran the diversified industries group in investment banking in North America. Meanwhile, Eric Stein will become head of investment banking coverage for North America, reporting to Urwin. Slaughter has been at the firm for 25 years, and will focus on the bank’s most important relationships across the sector. Larry Slaughter takes on the role of global chairman of diversified industries, also reporting to Urwin. He will focus on senior client relationships and spearhead the larger capital-raising transactions. Kevin Willsey was named global chairman of capital markets, reporting to Urwin. Aguzin will report to Cavanagh and Pinto.Īlso, last week, JP Morgan made big changes globally. CIB is also divided into two groups – banking and, separately, markets and investor services. The US bank merged its investment bank, corporate bank and treasury and securities services businesses into its global corporate and investment bank (CIB), under Mike Cavanagh and Daniel Pinto. The realignment in APAC banking is the result of a firm-wide restructuring announced in July.
The US firm said earlier this month that Aguzin, CEO for Latin America, would to take over the region’s top job from Urwin, who was relinquishing the post in favour of an expanded global role.

They will be responsible for client coverage and report to Urwin and Don McCree, global head of corporate banking and treasury services. Therese Esperdy, co-head with Marin, and Tom DuCharme, head of treasury and securities services for Asia Pacific, have been named co-heads of banking in the region. He will report to Jeff Urwin, global head of investment banking and outgoing Asia-Pacific CEO. Todd Marin, co-head of investment banking for Asia Pacific, has been appointed vice chairman for the division in the region, according to an internal JP Morgan memo. JP Morgan has made several promotions within its corporate and investment bank in Asia Pacific, about a week after naming a new CEO for the region.
